Welcome to our website. Horley Motors Limited offer high quality and reliable road haulage services throughout the UK, specialising in container haulage from the Port of Felixstowe, Harwich International Port, The Port of Ipswich and Thames Port.
Established in 1971
Horley Motors was founded in 1971 by Mr David Newton and has steadily grown into the large and modern fleet of vehicles and trailers that it now operates from the company owned secure premises in Ipswich, ideally located to service the Ports of Felixstowe, Ipswich and Harwich.
Quality and Service
As a Haulage company, we have established a well known and proven track record within the Industry on providing a first class level of service, this is of paramount importance in our day to day operations, to which extent we do not subcontract haulage or use Agency drivers to ensure that the high standards we set, are achieved daily for our valued customers. The ongoing commitment to quality has recently born witness to a major ongoing investment in new vehicles and trailers, with a vast majority of the fleet being no older then 3 years.
Fleet and Facilities
From this companies humble beginnings where it provided a niche service in the transportation of light weight 20 ft containers it has evolved and grown steadily through its never ending commitment in acting as worthy ambassadors for our valued customers in the most crucial stage of the supply chain namely the delivery / collection from your customers premises. This ongoing dialogue and understanding of our customers needs has also seen the fleet evolve from the original 17 ton rigids to also offer 44 ton articulated units with sliding skeletal trailers for the transportation of 1 x 20 ft , 1 x 30 ft, 2 x20 ft or 1 x 40 ft containers.
